Born in Kromy, Ukraine, in 1966, I began my molasses business at the age of 19, on a humble two acres of land. It was not long before the fame of fine Magnussen molasses, made in accordance with the strict standards of the 7th-century Magnussen recipe, began to spread throughout the Warsaw Pact. With the fall of the Iron Curtain, Westerners were able to partake of our tradition of excellence for the first time. Magnussen molasses has been the molasses of choice for such famous people as Boris Yeltsin, Condoleezza Rice, and Adam Sandler. Today, the Magnussen family owns a large molasses estate on 700 rolling acres near Lubny.
